100 years of solitude post (oni)

 Journal entry Oni, this is Chimalli recording the very last section of text for the spirit of Melquiades. 

    The Oni section of this text looks past the regrets, and onto what follows the spirit prior. He has used his last fragments of soul to reach a small number of his disciples to show them the truth, a bookstore is where one can read the language of his experiments or parchment manuscripts. He hopes showing compassion with giving closure will help his conscience, as for others he begs for them to not follow in the same footsteps as one cannot accomplish what he strived to. In the afterlife he speaks their is greatness but you must make your environment, you must treat man in order to treat yourself. Melquiades speaks deeply in the afterlife you would beg for their to be yellow to follow, but without peace their is no color. After this entry is written my final needs to gain peace will be met, and I hope my world becomes the world of color I once knew. For the dream of seeing yellow is only punishment for my lack of the color, my lack of mortality.

     Melquiades did not pay attention to his own time line as we previously discussed, so he had hoped that the few would find closure in knowing there is a way to understand. Though sadly there is no bookstore, the store is only one last prophecy set in the minds by the great spirit in order to drive them towards greatness like he once had. They will search for the bookstore and soon find their solution, through death and pain but yet they will at last find peace. Mortality must hold regret and pride, but not just one or the other thus this is the best way indeed. The only hope Melquiades has is that they will not follow the long road he had traveled, that is why the gypsy's must keep a close eye and ensure their safety. He has burdened his disciples with loss to further his own gain, and the lords punishment for the spirit is that he will now only have loss until their gain. In other words, the spirits conscience is burdened without his disciples peace as how will his spirit ever rest knowing what it has done to them. 

    It is an equal trade between the lord and the spirit, he has burdened them with cheating the equal trade of life, and in return the lord gives Melquiades the task of making balance once again. Giving peace to whom he has wronged and in exchange peace for himself as well, take this as a warning gypsy's and others alike. The lord works in mysterious ways, and the balance of mortality shall not be shifted, for it will knock you off your feet my friend.

-note- This is all the spirit has to offer me? Not a signal of how to keep my soul to the lord or any other guidance? Satan has his grips around me, and although I know the consequence I want to be great in this life time. The lord may not forgive, but if I look to other powers for guidance maybe I can find what I am looking for, Melquiades was soft in the palms anyhow, I know what a great man looks like and I am a great man. I can make the world mine, I will search corners no one has wiped their souls along before. The passage will be my legacy, one way to deter all of my competitors to finding the sweet sweet fruit before I.
