John Carpenter's Halloween Theme  This influential theme song to the blockbuster film Halloween, by John Carpenter set the tone for October in 1978. According to Vox "It single handedly launched the era of the Slasher film" , it is one of the biggest films of all time as well as having one of the most famous theme songs.        Hello all! This blog is my music preferences as well as thoughts and opinions as you may know, I cannot wait to experience your blogs and in addition see how they affect my taste in this journey of illumination that is my musical memoir. I enjoy currently music that is melodic and melancholy in nature, but tells a sweet story.       Artists my ears tend to favor are Tame Impala, I personally, out of my own opinion would say they are a pretty widespread influential band. I also like Ralph Catelli who originates from Anchorage and makes songs like Morning Sex, which really... it does feel like sex to your ears. I believe these artists are so appealing because they are so minimal in effort to listen to! It makes one feel like they're literally just melting in their seat. Music can affect emotion in my opinion and I truly feel like music that resonates these tones make me feel happy and so content inside without having the emotional expectation of being excited when listening or
